The Challenge
The medical office required specialized infrastructure for MRI, CT, and X-ray imaging suites, including lead-lined walls, reinforced flooring, and dedicated HVAC zones. The project had to maintain strict infection control standards during phased occupancy.
The Solution
We engaged medical equipment vendors early to finalize room layouts and MEP rough-in requirements. A phased construction plan allowed the ground-floor imaging suites to open first while upper-level exam rooms were completed. Enhanced air filtration and negative pressure systems were installed throughout.
The Result
The completed complex houses 12 physician practices across three floors, with a centralized patient registration and billing area. All imaging suites passed inspection on the first attempt, and the project earned LEED Silver certification.
